Multicultural Heritage Society of Prince George SAFE HARBOUR Program |

Smart. Simple. Visionary. The Safe Harbour Program promotes an inclusive BC that celebrates strong, vibrant, and diverse communities. Coordinated by the Affiliation of Multicultural Societies and Service Agencies of BC (AMSSA), Safe Harbour is a BC-wide diversity program that provides a simple, practical, and effective way for storefront businesses and agencies to better understand and serve an increasingly diverse population. Members of our communities, whether they are immigrants or refugees, people with disabilities, or same-sex partners, are often unsure whether a business, organization or institution will be receptive to them. |
Provide a Safe Harbour for Diversity in Your Community
There are now over 350 Safe Harbours serving urban and rural communities across BC. At the moment there are 21 in Prince George. These Safe Harbour locations display a colourful window decal to publicly demonstrate their respect for all ethnicities, religions, ages, abilities, genders and sexualities. |
